Genetically Modified Food in Mexico--How Can You Tell What NOT to Buy?

Quite a bit of the produce that is sold in Mexico--whether at a tianguis, at a Wal-Mart, at Soriana and other supermarkets, or at your local corner store--is imported from the United States or places in South America. ALL produce imported from the USA bears a little peel-off sticker, and each of those stickers has a printed number on it.

Some of the produce grown in the USA real, ordinary food and some is genetically modified. The link below will tell you how to tell which is which.

Genetically modified foods are painted as the salvation of humankind. In fact, they are the work of the devil--primarily Monsanto, the Devil Incarnate. PLEASE, for the sake of maintaining food as real food, for the sake of maintaining the ancient corns of Mexico, PLEASE read and pay close attention to this article. Our lives literally depend on it.
