San Luis Potosi to Guadalajara

What the best route from San Luis Potosi to Guadalajara, that uses the most toll roads? I need to make a quick drive, and want the safest, easiest route.

The quickest way is directly SE from Potosi on Hiway 57. A bit south you'll take Mex-80 west over towards Lagos de Moreno. Just south of Lagos you'll pick up cuota 80D into Guadalajara. The distance is about 240 miles. About the only portion that is not good road or tolls is the last 50 or so miles north of Lagos.

Any other route, trying to use more toll roads will add 2 hours to the trip.

Hello islanavidad,

I have personally taken the portion of your trip that RickS spoke of, and take the Hwy 57 section many times during the year without any problems. While I have taken the other section of the planned route laid out by Rick it has been too long ago to provide any current information to you. Usually I have only been through checkpoints by the militay heading North on Hwy 57 as one approaches San Luis Potosi. Hope that helps a bit.
