Anyone need a part time, trustworthy worker?

Can't Post | Private Reply
He is 24 years old, a full-time student at University of GDL, majoring in finance and is in his third year. He has a part time work scholarship from the University. Speaks English. Smart as hell and works fast. I pay him for three hours and he is done in two. I still pay him for three hours. He has worked as my gardener for two years this month. His dad has worked as gardener on another property for 6 years. Both of them have keys. And they are the only ones.. For non webboard members that view this and are interested, please call me at 376-766-2175 and I will have him call you back when he is here. He just wants something extra to do for a few hours a day once or twice a week. It does not have to be gardening, as his work for me was his first gardening job and dad came down to help him get to know the ropes for about two weeks and then he caught on. Including pool cleaning. Have the clearest pool I have had in 7 years. Delightful young man. Hope someone can help him continue and complete his education. thanks, fug

Did I mention that he is drop dead gorgeous, has the body of an adonis, is single, wears size 12 shoes and has big hands? Desperate times call for desperate measures. How do I find a smiley face around here? fug

What is the expression, are you also pimping him out?

You didn't describe which way he swings, before you are inundated with PMs.

I think one mention here on the forum is sufficient. You will probably have better luck talking to people you know and introducing him to them personally.

Oops, pushed the wrong button. Let me try again. The post I made yesterday was a tongue in cheek remark, jokingly geared to the single female population in Lakeside. I had no idea it would blow up in my face, for just trying to help a good young man find extra work to help him with his college expenses. We have never discussed his sexual orientation, and if I am pimping him for anything, it is to find honest work. fug

Appreciate your thoughts, but I guess we will agree to disagree. I think it is incumbent upon all of us in the foreign community that live here full-time to do all we can to help our Mexican friends when they are in need of help. This young man is simply looking for work. Not a handout. fug

I agree we should help those we can. And IMO, asking the forum once is appropriate.

Do all we can? Well, I disagree with that. All I could do would be give all my money to someone, or drive them around all day looking for work, hire them to work full time for me, pay their college expenses in total, etc.

I help people when I feel they will benefit from and appreciate my help, but no, I don't do all I can for them.

BTW, I hope he finds work. And hopefully he can find work related to his field of study (which is finance?) to improve his future employment chances.

Actually, all you can do for someone would be giving your life for them, in addition to all of your worldly possessions. Sorry, you thought my post went that far, or did you just stretch it a bit? Thanks for your good wishes for him. fug
