I suspect there are others, but I always depend on my Guia Roji "Por las carreteras de Mexico" for all my driving in Mexico (it also covers Guatemala y Belice). It has about 10, 8.5"x11" pages dedicated to the Baja. I just picked up the 2011 version at a Mexico Walmart for $210 pesos. My old 2006 version was 'dog-eared'!

My experience with Guia Roji is they are terrible for secondary and lessor roads. Good for highways

I have not had that experience Sparks, but then I don't spend all year here. I do drive some secondary roads, 'tho.

Do you have a recommendation for a better map?

From our experience, the Garmin Mexico maps are quite good for secondary roads. In fact, the only time I have found myself driving on a missing road was on a cuota.
