I think I found a typo in your question. You wrote llanurs, but I think that you meant llanuras, which are plains. The other typo is importante, but that one seemed more obvious.

I don't know the answers to these questions, so I will be interested in what you find out. I would suggest that a good map of Mexico showing topography might answer all of these questions. A quick look at a small map in my atlas revealed the "Mexican Plateau", probably "Meseta Mexicana". And the Yucatan peninsula is the only part of Mexico free of mountains.

Las principales llanuras que existen en el territorio mexicano son la Llanura Costera del Golfo, la Llanura Costera del Pacífico y las llanuras de Nuevo León y Coahuila.

As far as the Meseta, try meseta de Anáhuac. or Meseta Central de Mexico. Really, most of Mexico is a high plateau.

depresión del Balsas is apparently the lower elevation area including most of Morelos, Michoacan, and Guerrero, referring to the drainage area of the river Balsas.

This map right here may answer all these questions.

Do I know if any of the above is correct? No, but it is a place to start.

Thanks Richard!

That map should be able to help her answer many if not all the questions. I have seen a Maplandia (Google Map( before with the names of the mountains, but I'd be darned if I could find it tonight. I was not able to locate this map though. Thanks a lot. Oh yeah, the spelling errors are the teachers!!! . . . . . . . I simply copied it all verbatim, as my Spanish is mediocre at best! I'll let the teacher know . . . . . . . On second thought, maybe I had better not! (smiling)

Thanks again

Hey Again Richard.

Well that map was real successful. It did the trick! We all got 100% on her homework! Thanks again for your help. I think without that map we would have been in a pinch. Even the number two question was correct after studying the map closely.
