Augustin Vazquez invites you to celebrate the Virgin of Guadalupe Day at Restaurante Viva Mexico. He will be preparing a special menu of Chiles en Nogada with your choice of 4 different fillings: meat (beef/pork), chicken, shrimp and vegetarian (cheese) for $75 pesos. Be sure and come early so you can stroll the streets of San Juan Cosala to see the wonderful display of Guadalupe altars and stay for the traditional Guadalupana procession/parade with the virgin at 5 pm. Of all the towns lakeside, San Juan Cosala celebrates the Virgin of Guadalupe the most - beautiful altars to the virgin are in front of many of the houses in town and along the carratera. If you would like, you can also continue the fiesta later that evening in the San Juan main plaza where there will be a fireworks castillo at approximately 10 p.m.
