While there are a number of hotels where one can probably find rooms in the price range you specify, I may have an option for you which offers a decent location and some amenities. We have stayed at the Best Western Monteverde Express.
We have stayed there twice and on both occasions, they were running specials that got the room price down close to your specified range. When we were there in August, I entered into a casual conversation with the manager one evening. He indicated that they were really being affected by the tourism downturn and suggested that in the future calling him directly would result in a even lower rate. We stayed there three nights and only saw three other rooms occupied during our stay. Even though February is probably considered prime season, I am guessing that for a two week stay, you could probably negotiate a great rate. Nice facility located about five or six blocks from the main plaza with many decent restaurants in the vicinity.
