There will be a special Day of the Dead celebration in San Juan Cosala, tomorrow, Wed. Nov 2nd. There will be an altar in the town plaza - across from the church on Porfirio Diaz plus Aztec Dancers.

At Viva Mexico restaurant from 3pm to 8pm there will be a traditional altar, special folkloric dancers at 4pm and 6pm. Starting at 3pm there will be only a traditional Day of the Dead menu (not the regular menu). It is being offered at cost for 50 pesos and includes special foods that are typically served on this occasion, including moles (small portion of chicken or pork), bean tamales, pan de muertos and atole (a special chocolate-based one called champurrado plus two other traditional drinks). These are small portions and not a dinner for 50 pesos - he hopes to break even. Other drinks such as beer and wine will be extra. Also starting at 3pm there will be an art show and sale featuring many local artists with the Day of the Dead theme.
