Hello all! Can anyone tell me about what the prices of gasoline are right now in Mexico? Here in the states they are averaging around $3.50/gallon. Thanks!

Prices go up a little each month.
8 October to November 12
Magna $9.56 pesos per liter
Premium $10.50
Diesel $9.92

9.56 x 3.78=36.13divided by 13.11=$2.75 USD per gallon of unleaded regular

Hi Rolly,

When do you think these price increases for gasoline will level off Rolly? Any time soon? I think I remember reading somewhere when this all started, that Calderon was hoping to get the price up to European levels before leveling off the gas prices. . . . . . am I right in that thinking? Wonder what that European level is now?

The other day, I read that the government had authorized Pemex to continue the program into 2013.

I have never understood the fixation with gasoline prices especially from those who drive so few miles that it makes little difference it one's monthly budget. In the US, it seems to be a fixation point! I did happen to notice that I paid #2.979 the other day when I gassed up.

Woa, I have not seen gas below $3 for a looooooooong time! Are you guys stealing west Texas gas!?!

It's such a fixation point with me that I have this website: http://www.motortrend.com/gas_prices/

Actually I just use this when I'm hauling my 5th Wheel as I have 2 hybrids otherwise.

It dropped 14cents today in St. Louis to 2.99. Doubt it will last long.

I agree,. . . . . . . makes no difference how much it is really . . . . . . . . one has to pay what one has to pay. I may stand corrected, but I seem to remember Calderon saying that he wanted to get the price close to the european standards of gas costs. It seems apparent he is headed in that direction, if what Rolly posted as a date to continue raising prices until. That should get up to about $5.00 per gallon before it all stops . . . . . . if it ever does! (smiling)

Are you referring to Pres. CALDERON? As I recall he wanted to move it towards the "world market" price. Of course there is no such thing, just many prices all comprised mostly of taxes.
