Mexican driver's license-moving from 1 state to another

I currently have a Jalisco driver's license. If I moved, for example, to Patzcuaro, (state of Michocan) does anyone know if I have to retake all the tests or what?

Many thanks.

The rules vary from state to state, sometimes even among DMV offices within the state.
It's not one size fits all.

When we moved from Sinaloa to Colima, I didn't have to take the written or driving test.....just pay the $$$, stand in several lines, answer some health questions in place of a physical, get photo taken, wait in more lines & the seating area..wait for my name to be called...took about 1.5 hrs. I'm sure, like Rolly says, it will vary from state to state.

When we moved from Tamaulipas to Queretaro, we had to take the whole enchalada! Eye test, heraring, written examination and drivers test.

Given who they were dealing with, I am surprised that you still aren't in testing! HA!

YAYAYAYAYA! (smiling)

He was very surprised however when we took off and I was drivnig with my left foot! . . . . . . . He was pretty upset about that . . . . . . . . . . . . . until I hoisted my pant leg to show him my prosthesis! He just could not find anything against that in his little book! HA!
