Car Insurance Prices

Having recently relocated to Mexico, I have started looking to purchase a car. Regardless of how I came to the decision, I am focusing on buying a new Toyota Corolla at the dealership in Colima. I understand the coverage is much different than in the USA so that is not the issue. The car I looked at will cost just over 205,000 if I decide to buy it. Of course they offered to get insurance for me at a cost of 8300 pesos for the first year. Their insurance is the best ( yes I know they are car salesmen ) because if the car is in an accident , it must be taken to a Toyota dealership. I would appreciate any thoughts from those of you who have had experiences with car insurance on new cars and pricing.

Jeff
