It's official! Mazatlan now officially holds the record for building the world's largest shrimp cocktail! The shrimp cocktail was prepared in the new convention center, where the World Tourism Event took place. It was amazing.
Yesterday was World Tourism Day, which brought President Felipe Calderon to town for a little visit. Wonder if that huge security detail was for the President, or for the 538.5 kilograms of fresh shrimp. :-)
