Saturday September 17 the people who make traditional Paella Valenciana will be in front of supermarket El torito in La Floresta, from 11am to 3pm. For those who are not familiar with paella valenciana it contains pork, chicken, sea food - shrimp, clams, mussels and scallops. The vendor comes from Guadalajara and sells takeaway in plastic containers in front of El Torito. It's the most authentic paella valenciana I've had here in Mexico. If you don't like either the seafood or meat, they will sell you the dish as you like it - without something you don't like. PS: I don't have anything to do with this operation. I just asked them to email me when they are coming so I can stop by and get some paella. It's difficult to impossible to find lakeside. I thought other lake-siders might be interested also since they are here only once or twice per month.
