New Skype Devices-Makes it Easier to Use-No Computer

If you are a Skype user or are considering using Skype they have introduced 2 devices that allow you use the Skype service without the need to connect to your computer. They seem to be very similar to MajicJack. I am presently using VOIP with Packet8 (8x8) but may switch over.

I hope so. Years ago I bought a Netgear Skype telephone. What a piece of junk. It kept losing its configuration and sound quality was horrid.

We used to sell those. Not only were our clients having problems with them, but as I remember, they were quite expensive here in Mexico.

I presume and hope that the new product will be a great help to those who need same.

I'm still using IconnectHere.com just because I'm too lazy to change $6.99 per month plus 2 cents per minute to the states. And it comes with a phone adaptor to plug into my router be I up north or in MX

I had recently asked you all for your recommendations about iPhone service here in Mexico, and just last weekend purchased my new iPhone 4 32 GB thru TelCel. I'm really pleased with it, and have spent way too much of the past week setting it up.

Among the apps I installed was the Skype mobile version. I've used it a few times, and the call quality is marvelous. I suggest anyone with Skype and an iPhone check it out.
