David, I find those moving pictures at left of message extremely distracting and UNDESIRABLE. It would be nicer if you allowed ONLY still pictures.

Don't ruin a GOOD forum with too much cutsies!!!

Although I, too, am guilty, I like the suggestion, particularly as it increases my bandwidth!
I do not have a way of prevention, but I can request.

You have the ability to turn the poster icons off entirely for your own viewing inside your profile. There is an option to view or not view poster icons!

Well, I can't resist putting in my $.02. I hate the pictures -- whether they're moving or still. And I hate the Happy Face icons. But I knolw that I can keep 'em from appearing on my screen.

But for those who insist....how about you start charging folks for the right to upload their pics? Sort of like an online 900#. With each view, the posters' credit cards are dinged another buck.

Kidnappings in Mexico, Dengue fever in PV, hurricanes in Cancun and PV and we are complaining about moving icons??

I don't like the ones that move either. Very distracting...but I do love my emoticons. I just wish I could find then so I can use them.

right clic, properties on the one of your choice to get its address. Also note that there are four pages of them at that site, edit the address to say 2,3,or4 instaed of 1 to see the rest.
