But some US States will cancel your plates if you have no insurance - if you don't care and don't plan on going north on a trip - that's fine - we find it easier to have our Arizona agent keep the bare minimum on our vehicles, which keeps the plates valid. Then we can head north on an annual trip with no problems - and he upgrades the insurance for the period of the trip. Should've read your reply first. I'll be on a pretty tight budget, might just get rid of the pickup and bus everywhere. Don't plan to drive it much anyways.
