I paid $66.50 pesos for 20mg Simvastatina package of 30 at Costco. I usually buy at Costco because they carry the 20 mg. dosage. Most of the Mexican farmacias only carry the 10 mg dosage. Costco now has the generic version of Lipitor available, Atorvastatina. Atorvastatin will be available NOB in November. I will switch over when my current supply of simvastatina runs out. My USA doctor has suggested that, although, I have not experienced any issues with my current dosage of Simvastatin, he would prefer that I switch over to Lipitor. I am attaching a link to the recent FDA warning issued for Zocor (6/8/2011).
