Better taquerias than Mexico City!?!

Rick Bayless Calls Tijuana ‘One of the Great Food Cities of North America’

I used to be in the camp that thought that there's nothing that compares with the taquerias in Mexico City, that they're really at the top of their game. But now I'm sort of reconsidering that. I think the Tijuana taquerias are just amazing and there's more variety than there is in Mexico City.

I don't know that much about Mexico City, but yeah, in my visits to the fronterra (not Rick Bayless' restaurant BTW) I was quite impressed by the selection and quality of the tacos in Tijuana. One of my favourites was taco de seso. The lads at the stand used to laugh with surprise as the freckled ginger (me) hoovered up two or three of the delights.
Así pues...aquí estamos...
