Could you show me how extortion and kidnapping will generate the astronomical amount of money that the drug business does?


Your right, I did mean you. Too many quoted replies to wade through, I suppose. I stated that you don't need large amounts of money to finance extortion nor kidnapping. Once the organization is in force, they can participate in any type of criminal activity.

Over the top even for the Zetas. The government broadcast a presidential message from Calderon last night and it sounds like he is going to put Monterrey under some limited form of martial law.

I think it will stop when the Mexican government and Chapo/Mayo resume a peaceful coexistence after the competitors have been eliminated. This is all about money which is being wasted along with the collateral damage in human lives.
