I don't know that much about Mexico City, but yeah, in my visits to the fronterra (not Rick Bayless' restaurant BTW) I was quite impressed by the selection and quality of the tacos in Tijuana. One of my favourites was taco de seso. The lads at the stand used to laugh with surprise as the freckled ginger (me) hoovered up two or three of the delights.
