Pre-Hispanic objects

We were phoned once or twice about Pre-Hispanic objects from Mexico that had been taken to the States, the person phoning said that they wanted to return them to Mexico.
They wanted to know if we knew any one that could do this, with us as the go between.
I inquired about getting authenticity and never heard any more about it.
