What are espresso pods? I've heard of vanilla pods and espresso beans, but never espresso pods.

Not in Guad, but elsewhere at Costco and Superama.

Guess I've lived in México too long to be up on the latest yuppie fad! LOL Some Mexican roasters produce really excellent espresso beans, but I'm certain they don't make these "pods" here.

Some of the pods have Mexican coffee in them. Nesspresso offers coffee pods from all over the world. These pods are a great way to have a cup of espresso for everyone´s taste without sitting on a bunch of different types of coffee that goes stale.
We have different types of coffees for different tastes and we love it.
We bought the machine in Polanco and get the coffee pods ship to our house or whever we are. The service is great, I do not think it is a fad, it makes great coffee .
I fell in love with the coffee while visiting my family in Europe and I am thrilled that type of service is offered in Mexico.Everyone we know in Europe has a machine.
Most of the buyers at the store in Mexico where Mexicans so it is not just for foreigners and or for yuppies enjoying that type of coffee
You are just falling behind the times...
