Life Planning in Jalisco (or elsewhere in Mexico)

Jalisco is the main focus, but much of the information, especially on the durable powers of attorney from other Mexican states or from NOB, is relevant anywhere in Mexico. The Emergency Information Guidelines are useful to you no matter where you live.
So, what's in the publication?
Emergency Information Guidelines to help you get into place what you need for someone to manage your affairs, or manage you, in the event of an emergency, or short or long-term incapacitation!
What kind of questions?
Well, who takes care of the dog(s)?
Who takes care of you?
Who knows all the medications you are taking?
Who knows what hospital you want to go to or if you have any insurance?
Who knows if there are any powers of attorney or health care directives?
Who knows who to call NOB?
If caregivers are NOB, can they get to you in Mexico in a timely manner?
If they do get to Mexico to provide some help, how long can they stay?
How do you set up an emergency contact system?
What goes into an emergency wallet card?
Who speaks for you when you cannot speak for yourself?
Got the idea? There's a lot to cover.
Part II of the publication looks specifically at durable powers of attorney for health and finances, and the Mexican federal end-of-life legislation. The systems here in Mexico, and especially in Jalisco, are a lot different from what we know NOB.
Part III gives some guidelines in how to put an emergency information binder together so that someone knows where to find it and how to use it to help you when you need help.
The final section lists interviews, resources, references and more reflecting 3 plus years of work in trying to present a good quality product that is useful for all of us!
The publication is 35 pages and is available in electronic or hard copy form.
So, what's the purpose of the blog????
Well, the blog supports the publication. If you take a look at some of the posts, they are smaller segments of the publication. In some cases, the posts enhance and expand the publication or just present what's in the publication.
While the publication is for sale, the blog posts can be viewed and comments made without purchasing the publication.
