why not... tell us a bit about your background and why your opinion should be considered credible over those of many who have been here a long time and are known to have experience driving in Mexico? With just a couple of posts, are you someone new to the forums or a veteran reincarnated?

I agree, Not a stupid question at all. I'm sure the 25 answers she received were very helpful to the extent that their is not one best answer to fit all needs.

(Good point. It was a stupid question followed by answers that, to myself, are mostly a bunch of talking heads who could not buy a taco from a cart in the middle of Mexico. ) I'l try and remember to not ask for your opinion unless its buying a taco.....

Thanks Altahabana for clearing that up for most of us that like to help someone understand various issues while traveling into Mexico.

There were only two pointless responses on this thread in my opinion. Even the folks who talked about crossing at Nogales were trying to help.

On every Mexico forum there is a hard core who go postal whenever there is any mention of narco violence or the security situation in various parts of the country. Ironically one mentions "talking heads" who wouldn't know how to buy a taco off a cart when they probably don't know the difference between a "Zeta and a zebra" or a "balada and a balacera."
