Lavandita...I am glad to see you are back on line and posting :) All your jocoque recipes sound wonderful and I'm going to try some of them soon. If you have a good burrito recipe, please post it for me. Gracias and Happy Mothers day (since you are in Dallas, I assume you will celebrate it Sunday).

Actually, I am enjoying the best of both worlds-
Thursday roses arrived,and I called all my madrinas, cunadas, etc in Mexico.

From Thursday on Despierta America thru last night on Sabado Gigante, got
to hear lots of manyanitas and got to cry which the mananitas always make me do.

Today we went to church, got the Mom's blessing, and will be going
out to eat Vietnamese shortly.

Hubby never takes us out for Mexican since he says it is all texmex and he would rather eat Mexican at home.

(Meaning, of course, he would rather cook....

;-))

(Ne of these years, though I will spend 10 de mayo en Mexico, hearing all the sereeenatas, just like I did before I was married OR a Mom.

Most beautiful time of the year....jacarandas bloomin, all those guitars and men's
voices echoing down the callejones....othing like it!
