If you do not have a plumbing roof vent here is a low cost way to solve it. You would do this at every sink location in your house.
mind you these generally fit the typical plastic found.used in the USA, your plumber will have to cheat a bit but it is not critical have them use silicone as this is not a pressure fitting.

here is how you do it.
lets say you do have a roof vent and you get a nasty odor try this. if your roof one stinks here is a solution
