Is this article indicative of the new normal in Mexico? Has it gone from the land of "no pasa nada" to "ni modo"? For me, I knew that the innocence was shattered when the sight of masked policemen became no big deal.

According to the writer of this editorial, the Mexican people have not been inured to the violence but instead are "hasta la madre". Fed up and not going to take it anymore.
