Hello, I work in the states with the latino population. I teach nutrition. I am coming to Oaxaca y D.F. to visit the markets, and see how some of the food is prepared. Does anyone have any good tips for markets that are really good to go to? Or any good day cooking schools in D.F. or Oaxaca? Thanks!

Check out the message linked below in response to the query from Rosario H. Martínez Núñez. I'm not sure if these qualify as "day cooking schools," but they are in or near D.F.

I'm looking forward to any info that shows up here about markets, too.

I dont know but if you need more information you can visit www.oaxaca.com or www.cahuayaxi.com they have a bulletin board and a lot of oaxacans visit it everyday.. so give it a try.
