One Eyed Drivers in Mexico

OK. . . . . OK I fully expect a bunch of jokes and puns relating t one eyed drivers in Mexico . . . . . . . However the question is serious. can anyone tell me if there are any states in Mexico that require the driver to legally have two fully functioning eyes? I know there are vision tests for drivers lisences. Can only one eye, that is of good vision qualify a driver to have a license in all Mexican sates?

This ought to be good! (smiling) But it really is a serious question.

Not all states require a vision test. My state, Durango, does not.
I am blind in one eye and have impaired vision in the other, so I gave up driving last fall when my license expired.
I could have renewed my license even in my condition. Not a very good way to keep the roads safe.
The little icon on my signature line has an eye patch, too.

So, Rolly, when you previously showed up to renew your license, did you wear a black eye patch (like your icon) and a bandana around your head, carry big sword and a parrot on your shoulder, and growl at the clerk:
"Arrrrrg, matey, where's me new license!"

If so, how well did it work? Enquiring minds want to know...

You're thinking of "Parnel" in Taxco, who has a parrot on his shoulder and wears only a macrame speedo.
