I trying to decide about a mail service. For the most part I am paperless, but certain things you cannot go paperless.

At the end of the year I get 1099s and I also get K1 forms.
I can get these of the internet but by law they have to send it out as well. If I use a mail box service and I say shred them (and here is where my paranoia comes in) they could open it before shredding and get SS number etc. We do not have family so that is not an option. I can have it mailed that way at least I would know it was not open. This seems like the best choice. Is sending the above safe if you use UPS FEdEx and DHL?

Ah, the mail service. We're lucky here in Baja because someone is always going back to the old country so they mail things for us up there. I think that MexPost has really improved lately with mail within the country. It took only 4 days to receive a 1 kilo package from Puebla to Ensenada. I sent it registered. Good luck with this.
