Move over Juan Valdéz, it's time a real coffee farmer tells the real story

The two cooperatives we work with are UCIRI from Oaxaca, Mexico and La Voz from Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. Both are certified Fair Trade and Organic from international certifying agencies.

"Food With a Face" is a philosophy we are dedicated to. We feel it is our responsibility to know who we do business with. While we of course do not know all of the coffee farmers that supply Peace Coffee (there are thousands), we know that they belong to cooperatives that we know well, that we trust and that share our ideals. It's about connections. So with that said, we would like to introduce to you your coffee farmers. Unlike the fictional made-for-television Juan Valdéz, they are very real and committed to environmental protection and economic justice.
