According to the above two article published today, SOUTHWEST AIRLINES and VOLARIS have announced a new partnership agreement. In the second article, they provide details to the graduated implementation between various US cities and those in Mexico. All connections will be through LAX, SJC or OAK.

Note: The link for SW/Mexico in the second article is not working at this time. I could not find a reference on either airline's web site as yet.
