How to send a dog from Mexico to Canada

Can't Post |
We have a dog in Mexico, taken care of by my in-laws. It's a female Maltese of 6 years old. We want to take her here so that she could have a better life (since living in a 5 square feet closed patio is not what I want for her). We can't go there until next year so we thought to arrange for the dog to travel alone, on a non-stop flight. Someone could bring her to the airport at the airline counter and we'll be waiting at the airport here. Is it a good idea, taking in consideration that she will need a tranquilizant if traveling alone ? Can she adapt, leaving a tropical climate and arriving in the snow ? Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

It can be done quite easily.

I have sent you an email privately explaining just how it can be done and how easily.

Wait until you can get her. Your energy might be better spent in sending a nice thick piece of carpet or rug for her to lay on, and a nice ample water bowl. Maybe your inlaws can even pay someone to spend time with the dog. The bottom line is that if the dog dies on the plane the airline is not liable, and she could also get stolen.
: We have a dog in Mexico, taken care of by my in-laws. My inlaws won't do nothing more than give her basic food and water. Thanks anyway, I had'nt been thinking about the stealing one. I really miss her but will wait. Hope to go as soon as I can.
: Wait until you can get her. Your energy might be better spent in sending a nice thick piece of carpet or rug for her to lay on, and a nice ample water bowl.
