Something fabulous to look forward to in Mexico City:

Don't miss what is becoming a tradition in Mexico City - the wonderful Alebrije Parade! According to my sources at the Museo de Arte Popular, the sponsoring museum, this year it will be bigger and better than ever with many more alebrijes participating, created by artisans from all over the República, not just Mexico City. It will take place on Saturday, October 23, beginning at noon, starting at the Zócalo, proceeding down Madero and Juárez and Reforma and ending up at el Ángel. If you can't make the parade, all of the alebrijes will be on display from the 23rd till November 7 along Reforma between el Ángel and la Diana.
