That trailer is listed on your friend's vehicle permit. If you stop at the border to turn in your vehicle permit, as you are expected to do, how will you account of the trailer that is not on your permit? If you don't turn in your permit and just drive out with the trailer, when you return, if you stop and ask to get the trailer added to your permit, then that poor trailer would be listed on two permits. You and/or your friend would have a problem somewhere down the line. If you don't have the trailer on your permit, how will you explain it if you get caught at an aduana check point? I think your idea could end up in a mess. Tempting as it may be to have the use of the trailer, I sure wouldn't try it. Rolly
