Any ideas for a simple yet tasty spanish desert/dish for a spanish project (colllege level)? Thanks!

Try this is called "Chancletas" very tasty.
Cook 2 or 3 or 4 Chayotes (depending on the amount of people). To cook you boil them in water until soft.
Cut them in half following the top to divide the halves.
With a spoon carve the pulp very careful, try not to break the skin leaving a thickness of 1/4 inch. Save the skins.
Mash the pulp and add, sugar to taste, cinammon, eggs 1 or 2, rum, and make a paste.
Fill the skins with this paste and sprinkle some cinammon, and bread crumbs and bake in oven at 350 F.until tops are golden color. Enjoy. Sorry for my directions but I never use recepies and it is hard to explain with no directions.
