Former SMA mayor calls for the death penalty

In his role as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Senator
Villareal is obligated to express his country's complaint regarding
the shooting of a Mexican juvenile by a border patrol officer. In this
article, which will be viewed by thousands of Mexican readers, in my
opinion, he is fanning the flames of the anger between the two
countries over the immigration issue. Luis Alberto knows better than
to find the officer "guilty before being proven innocent" and should
be ashamed of himself. His choice of words that the death penalty
would be imposed on a Mexican if the roles were reversed does nothing
to inform but does heighten the outrage. It will gain him political
points in Mexico but, as a person with an allegiance to both
countries, I am very disappointed and think that his remarks are
counterproductive.

First, please learn how to post a link.

Second, you appear to use the word allegiance very loosely unless you are a dual citizen.
