end of the plaza that is beautifully set up with colorful banners. It's a
combination art festival and in about a week the Festival of St. John the
Baptist begins - June 24th is the final day and there is usually a lot happening
in the plaza that evening with a big castillo of fire works.
About one week before June 24th they will start with parades through the town
that start on the east end of Porfirio Diaz and go to the west end of town.
There is usually a float with John the Baptist on it each day and it gets more
elaborate. The town band marches along and many of the towns people follow.
The parade usually starts around 6pm to 6:30.
