Bad request?

I'm getting a "Bad Request" browser message when I try to open this thread: http://www.mexconnect.com/...l_gains_tax_P145440/ . Apparently others aren't having this problem, so it must be me. I'm using Firefox 3.6.3 on Windows XP here at home.

Any ideas?

And while I'm at it, when I go to MexConnect on my work PC, I have to continually hit the refresh button to see what has recently been posted to the thread, as in after every single click. Sometimes, the site then presents me with a logon screen as if I'm logged out when I'm not. By hitting refresh again, I can magically see everything and I'm suddenly "logged in" again. It's very annoying.

In that case, I'm using IE 7.0 (I know, no comments, it's my employer's "consistent office environment" standard - grrr!) on Vista.

Thanks for any tips/pointers on how to get past these annoyances. You guys (and gals) do a great job here - some of us do appreciate it.

Wow! Either there's a ghost in the machine or I just got the fastest response in history. Just went back to check the offending thread and, like magic, I'm suddenly able to read it. This, after multiple attempts to access over the last couple of days. Very, very strange.
