Article from L.A. Times about the improvement in Mexico City's air quality. I agree....I can see the surrounding
mountains much easier than in the past.

What a lovely view of El Popo! For several years, I've been saying to anyone who will listen that the air quality in Mexico City has really improved. I can't see El Popo from my azotea, but when it's a clear day, I can see a line of brown hills to the southwest. I remember vacationing here maybe 20 years ago and coming back to where I was staying and rushing to scrub away the black grime that had settled under my fingernails. It was rather yucky, to say the least!
