I am planning on spending 2-3 months next winter (Jan - Apr) in
another of Mexico's colonial cities/towns. (I spent last winter in Alamos, Sonora). My destination choice is undecided as yet & will depend on my finding suitable rental accommodations. I will want a long-stay rental in/near el centro/historic district.
I'm a well-traveled female retiree who will be there alone, so for
security & social reasons, I would want a small casita/apartment in
a complex or apartment block, or in a suite hotel. My price range is about US$500/month. I am prepared to book a hotel for a week
or so & look around for a place once I get there, so your advice
& tips re a central/budget hotel to book & advice on preferred
neighborhoods to 'live' or to avoid would be much appreciated. The
email address of local contacts for rentals would also be handy. My travel photography home page: http://www.worldisround.com/home/brecky/index.html
