Webhefe: How do I indentifying new (to me) messages?

Can't Post |
David, two questions:

First - maybe I just haven't looked in the right places but one thing I enjoyed about the old forums was the way I could see at a glance which postings I had already read and which were new to me. I know I have to leave cookies on but ...how do I recognize these things in the new forums?

Second - and I just discovered this one: When I clicked on "Post New" to put up this message, I couldn't figure out how to get started with my typing. Then I found "Switch to (somethingorother)" and clicked on it, and this screen presented. Is there something different I'm supposed to do on that first screen that presents itself when I click on "Post New" ...in order to type into it?

Cheers,
Bob

My default editor was set for Advanced ...but now it seems to work just fine, thanks.

I'll check out Beginnings ...thanks some more!
