why can I not post directly on to the general forum?!?

For us "computer/cyberspace illiterates" this change in Mexconnect's format represents a perfect example of "new" may or may not meaning "improved" but surely meaning more complex (read:AGGRAVATING!!!). Here where I am paying money in a cybercafe, I have been in two sessions trying to figure out what I used to do in three minutes! The screen here will not let me access "post new message" onthe general forum, so what the h--- do I have to do? I tried to send Jennifer Rose a letter on this addressed to the Mexconnect address indicated, and that got kicked back, too. Ain't it great! FRUSTRATED JOE!

The Practice Forum is the only one that doesn't require registration.

Hi Joe,

Have you registered? You profile says you are a guest which means either you haven't registered, or you haven't signed in. After you register, you will receive a confirming e-mail at the address you list in the registration. You must reply to that e-mail in order to activate your account. Having done all that, you should be able to sign in and be able to post on any forum.
