Well...dónde está means 'where is'.

Is it possible that you meant to write, dónde queda instead of donde que? "Queda" comes from the verb "quedar", which means, in this sense, 'to be situated in'--i.e., where is. I'm not familiar with donde que, but someone else might be...

Dónde está and dónde queda are more or less equal in meaning, although dónde queda is a bit more colloquial.

Dónde está la biblioteca? Where is the library?
Dónde queda la biblioteca Where is the library?

Greetings , I found out he the expression, 'donde que', is it used sometime as sarcasm. If somebody invite another person to a place he does not want to go it is like. 'Vamos a ir a donde esta Manuel', and the other person would say, 'donde que?. Gerry Zaragemca
