Is donde esta the more polite form? What say you? Well...dónde está means 'where is'. Is it possible that you meant to write, dónde queda instead of donde que? "Queda" comes from the verb "quedar", which means, in this sense, 'to be situated in'--i.e., where is. I'm not familiar with donde que, but someone else might be... Dónde está and dónde queda are more or less equal in meaning, although dónde queda is a bit more colloquial. Dónde está la biblioteca? Where is the library?
