Once in a while we read reports from folks who have had bad experiences dealing with their local INM office. In my 10 years here, I have never had a bad experience with them. Today was a bit different -- the experience was outstanding. This morning I went in to change to FM2. I had downloaded the required forms from the INM website, filled them our, and gathered all the other papers and copies. When I got to the office, I was third in line, never before had there been a line. When my turn came, I handed over the packet of papers. All was not well. I had made an error on one of the forms, and my letter requesting the change was deemed insufficient. At that point I expected to be sent home, but no -- the lady said she would retype the form with the correct information, and she would write a new letter for me. WOW! Then she said the copy of the CFE bill was not enough since it was in the name of my landlord. There is a new form that he must sign. Fortunately he was with me, so that was easily taken care of on the spot. A trip to bank to pay, some signatures and thumb prints, and it was all over. Total lapsed time was just over an hour. They'll call when the FM2 booklet is ready. You should be so blessed at your INM office. Oh, yes, and they are in a new building with off-street parking. Rolly
