Terminal 1 at The México City airport is the old (domestic) terminal. Terminal 2 is the new, (international) terminal. If you are arriving from an airport within México you will normally be arriving at terminal 1. If you are flying in from another country, you will normally arrive at terminal 2. After you have confirmed which terminal you will arrive at, tell your friends which gate your flight will arrive at. The gate number should be on your ticket, or ask the vendor that sold you the ticket for the gate number. Your friends will be able to ask where that gate is, they will need to know which airline you are using for the flight. Failing all that, they should be able to ask which gate the airline and flight from your city of departure will arrive at. The last stage when arriving on an international flight, is to clear customs, a simple process. Your friends will not be allowed into the customs area. There is a glass wall separating the customs area from the rest of the terminal. There are small carts similar to the carts in grocery stores to carry your luggage in the customs area, they are free to use, just grab one of them. The carts may not be taken out of the customs area. When you have cleared customs, carry your luggage and step through the door in the glass wall and wait for your friends to see you. There will probably be many other people waiting there too, and many people in the corridor looking for people to meet. Your friends will soon see you. There will probably be many porters that you may hire to carry your bags if necessary. My wife has met me that way a few times when I made trips NOB without her. It is pretty simple really. The key is knowing which gate the flight will arrive at. Rex "The supreme happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved" - Victor Hugo
