I keep on wanting to go over to the old Forums and see how they are doing!

Can't call it withdrawal. So I guess I'll have to put it down to reluctant behaviour modification!

Not as strange as your picture

Dearest WebJefe, your picture doesn't do you justice. I have no idea what you look like, but it has to be better than your chosen photo. What's up with that? Perhaps a picture of Solomon or Socrates???? This image is disturbing. Is it the deletion reaper or what?

Hmmm!

And here I thought it was celebraatory of Dia de los Muertos!

Oh Well, I'll have to see what I can find that would be more suitable.
I like your suggestions!

That's funny how we all perceive the photos. I thought yours (Georgia) reminded me of a cemetary in the US!
Nice and tranquil...nice trees but that's what it did to my mind.

Very good, Esteban

Cypresses ARE associated with cemeteries. Every path to every cemetery in Italy is lined with them. In Spanish we have the celebrated novel, "Los cipreses creen en dios." Actually, I chose that pix because it is the view from my patio and I find it peaceful. When the wind blows the tops of the cypresses move like the animated paintbrushes in Disney's "Fantasia." Very pretty.

David, I would be honored if you wanted to take over my icon. It is still early on so I don't mind switching. It is actually a detail of 'Merit' from a famous fresco work 'Allegory of Merit Accompanied by Nobility and Virtue' painted by Tiepolo in Venice 1757/58. I thought it would make sure that I only post articles 'with merit' - but I guess I've already blown that, sending a picture of one of my dogs!

Let me know - I will send you a large size jpeg for you to tweek. Unlike the image you are using now, I own this image so can do with it as I like.
