My sister-in-law is looking for a competent allergist. When she arrives in Mexico, the symptoms begin! And the jacarandahs haven't started to bloom! Anyone with a good experience with a local allergist who speak English? If not in this area, then Guadalajara will do.

Last winter, when I had allergies really bad, I went to Dr. Leon. I didn't know what it was at the time, but he immediately diagnosed me and gave me a shot and some pills that worked. He is in general practice, but he also has connections with a wide variety of specialists. However, he didn't need a specialist to fix me right up.

Forgot to mention that Dr. Leon's office is on the Carretera between Colon and Juarez, on the Lake side of the street. He is in the phone book, but if you just show up at 8:30-9:00 AM, you can get in without an appointment. Also, you might pass along that he is a very warm and pleasant young guy, and speaks perfect English.
