Animal hospitals

I have an older family pet ( boxer ) who has heart trouble, he has a bleeding tumour on his heart which needs to be drained periodically. Here in Ontario we have amazing services for pets . Does anyone know of a clinic or animal hospital in Cancun or surrounding areas that would be of a higher caliber of care for pets?

In a pinch you could come to Merida if you cannot get a good vet in Cancun. We use the vet at Planned Pethood here in Merida http://plannedpethoodmexico.com This vet clinic is similar to one you might find in the US and the vet is up on the more modern procedures as I believe he was educated in the U.S. Before we used Planned Pethood we used another local vet and were quite happy with his care, but when we ran into some more serious medical issues with our older dog we switched to the Planned Pethood clinic. I feel that they are a bit better equipped to handle the not so routine problems.
