This article does more to alarm than inform

How can they report that 5 cities in Guanajuato might see a New Year attack by the Zetas and identify only Leon as one of them? If the intelligence isn't specific, why not put out a general statewide alert. The only thing I can think is they want to concentrate undercover security forces in the four unnamed cities without tipping the Zetas where they will be. My guess is they are referring to Celaya, Apaseo, Irapuato and Dolores. If I were still down there, I think I would celebrate the New Year at home but the report does say that folks should just go about their normal lives. What then is the point of the article but to sell more newspapers?
